So Owen has a fever. A pretty bad one. He's been 
at 103.5 all day today. Last night he only slept until 5am because of his pain. Erik and I only got about 4 hours of sleep last night. We'll definitely be going to sleep before 10 tonight. But today we had to go into Austin. I had an appointment for my hair, and I needed a pedicure. Also, Erik needed a haircut. But more importantly, we had an appointment to have Owen's pictures made for his first birthday. YAY!!! I still can't believe it's now less t
han a week away. Of course he was miserable all day, though. And it didn't help that it was pouring rain this morning either. We had a bunch of stuff to do, and he either slept or cried through most of it. I felt so bad for him all day. He fell asleep on me in the middle of lunch at the Hyde Park Grill. Then he slept on me again right after the pictures were finished. Poor little guy. Nonetheless, we somehow managed to get some pretty adorable pictures today. We already have two of them framed and put up in the living room. Crazy, I know. Now we'll spend the week preparing for his birthday party on Saturday. I'm sure it's going to be a blast!
