e have had a pretty relaxing summer, with nothing too exciting happening (which is fine by me). So I really haven't had much to blog about. And this one won't be too long, because my goal tonight is to go to sleep by 9:30! I figure Owen wakes up at the same time every morning no matter what time I go to sleep. So it's pretty stupid of me to stay up until one in the morning, as I did last night.

And this one won't be too long, because my goal tonight is to go to sleep by 9:30! I figure Owen wakes up at the same time every morning no matter what time I go to sleep. So it's pretty stupid of me to stay up until one in the morning, as I did last night.We've been having fun, though. We go on walks every morning. .JPG)
We go to the park or the pool almost every afternoon. And we do a lot of playing inside (seeing as it's been 100 degrees or more almost every day for the last three weeks). We've even had a few playdates. To some people this may seem boring. But we're pretty content. Owen keeps us busy no matter what he's doing. Tonight he was cranky because he hadn't taken a long nap after the pool, and he had his first real temper tantrum. I tried to get it on video, but the act of getting out the camera distracted him from his anger. He laid 
down on the kitchen floor on his tummy and cried hysterically. It was sad but kind of funny, too. I'm sure it'll be the first of many (as he comes by them naturally).

They also have a daughter who is six weeks older than Owen... and we all know Owen loves the girls! We hope you're enjoying your summer. I also hope it's not as hot wherever you are, and if it is, you've got good air conditioning!
